Best Fashions from the Oscars

Favorite Dressed Women

Glenn Close - in Carolina Herrera. This dress has over 4 million beads on it and weighs 42 pounds. Glen Close is an icon and this gold gown even includes pockets.

Lady Gaga - in Alexander McQueen dress and 128.54-carat diamond necklace by Tiffany & Co. This is so clean and classic and I love the extra touch with the long gloves. She changed for her performance of “Shallow” but kept the stunning yellow and white diamond necklace.

Constance Wu - in custom Atelier Versace dress and Neil Lane jewelry. I love the movie ‘Crazy Rich Asians’ and the whole cast was stunning tonight starting with Constance. There has been an uptick in the usage of yellow and it makes me so happy to see the use of such a bright color! The soft flowy pleats of the fabric look so stunning on her.

Gemma Chan - in Valentino Haute Couture. Gemma rocked this train that started at her neckline in this multi-tiered bright pink gown. It is both visually stunning and looks incredibly comfortable.

Helen Mirrien - Who doesn’t love an icon! Helen at age 73, makes turning 70 look so good. Her pretty in pink dress has so much dimension of color, when she moved her dress the multi-layer sheer fabric revealed layers of colors!

Michelle Yeoh - in Elie Saab Haute Couture. I love how clean Michelle’s dress is yet still is so detailed and artistic. I’d love to see this repeated on bridesmaids dress to add a bit of an artist flair to bridesmaids dresses.

Melissa McCarthy - in custom Brandon Maxwell and Forevermark jewels.
